Constructed from scrap / repurposed timber. Screwed & nailed (no glue). Check that the 18mm timber fits quite tightly in the gaps on the left and right, and sits on top of the 9mm spacers (top and bottom).
Predrill & countersink all screw holes. The base of this version is much larger than necessary but can be flipped over to provide a flat surface for final assembly and checking.
